In the space of Puccs Contemporary Art, artist Judit Lilla Molnár adopts her work Limit to a site-specific art installation, where the floating cash machine tapes are poetical representations of the waving and changing status of the material world. The strong social determination of the location contributes a lot to this interpretation. Besides the location, the starting points of the installation were the luxury stores, to which most of us can only relate through their windows, just as it often happens with visual arts.

Judit Lilla Molnár‘s (1991, Eger) site-specific installations are inspired by personal experiences and life situations, while at the same time they also reflect to the difficult situation of the emerging Hungarian artists. Judit is currently a DLA student of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. In recent years, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions including the ’OSTRALE Biennale’ in Dresden 2021, ’Art unboxed – Behind the Glass’ and ’Art in a Box’ which was organized by MODEM in Debrecen. This summer, her solo exhibition entitled Planned Accidental was held at the Budapest Gallery.

Ajna Maj (1994, Budapest) has participated as a curator in several art projects, mainly collaborating with emerging artists. Most recently, in summer 2021, she organized an international group exhibition at aqb Project Space entitled ’When Art Meets Society / When Society Meets Art’. In 2021, she won the first-ever announced competition for curators by Deák Erika Gallery, in the framework of which she will realise her winning concept, ’Transitional Objects, Transitional Landscapes’, in autumn 2022.

Puccs Contemporary Art in District 8 was opened by Bullet Shih in 2014 as a forum for presenting engaging art. Bullet’s family continues to operate Puccs in his loving memory.

Insight Project is a new initiative of Parallel Art Foundation. Five artists were selected through an open call to realise site-specific installations that are visible only through the windows of the space.
