Opening: 2022, Sept 6, 7-9pm

Under construction is a pile-artwork built of art pieces from the storage, tools and materials, and based on the contiguous reproduction of urban environment. A pile of construction scrap is now changing role with an art installation in the space of PUCCS Contemporary Art.

Ádám Széll was born in 1995, in Debrecen, Hungary. Graduated in 2019 from Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Painting Department. Since then, he lives and works in Budapest.

His recent works are primarily based on his experience in construction industry, and introduce similarities in practical skills and working circumstances of visual artists and workers. In his works, he often reflects on life situations and existential questions of the visual artist as a civil employee.
